um, ew on the onion! Honey didn't do jack. I switched to delsym or something like that and it helped a lot. I actually got some sleep last night! Of course it could be the cold going away, too.

Delsym usually works for me. When Delsym doesn't work, I need prescription cough syrup. It may not make me stop coughing, but I sleep anyway. I'm glad you're getting some sleep, and I hope the cold is going away.

Yup, it's going away, thank goodness. I was at the doc for the "Wow, isn't that an interesting ceiling" appointment Wednesday and he wanted to give me an Rx for the cough, but once I told him how bad I was affected by coedine when the dentist gave it to me, he opted to skip the scrip. Then he took my blood pressure (which, despite everything in this thread, was incredibly LOW) and said that THAT was probably why I couldn't take coedine, since it likely pushed my pressure way too low.

No, but that's only because I am not doing the $600 fix my car needs because I plan on getting rid of it in the next few weeks. So yeah, your brakes are my fault too!

And the curse spreads....
A couple from church had car trouble tonight, and DH went out to help them. Interestingly enough, the very couple that I bought my car from - the one that I had the brakes fixed on today.

Congrats on the mysurvey win. I answer their surveys sometimes, so it's good to know that they actually do award prizes (although I take my points in cold hard cash, and just enter the daily raffle if I'm answering a survey.)
