The score so far: 1 bump on the head and a not-quite-black eye. #4 was teasing his brothers and holding the bathroom door shut. #1 was pretending to peek inside, but I thought he needed to go. I grabbed the door and pulled, and #4 let go. #1 will probably be ok for pics by the end of the trip. He may even forgive me.  |

I almost got into a bar fight last night! I've never been in a bar fight- how cool would that have been??
I was standing near the stage in a really crowded bar, when I heard a commotion behind me. I turned around just in time to see a guy throwing a punch at another guy. Unfortunately, the guy throwing the punch was drunk and his momentum spun him around, leaving me staring right down the business end of a right hook. I ducked, but then #1 saw everything, shoved me against the wall and stood in front of me holding his arms out wide. Dang, and I could have taken the guy, too. |

Man, I can't believe I missed a bar fight. The most exciting event of this weekend was when Chaz decided to line up with Critter for cat treats this morning, lol. (Chaz usually hides out in the basement.)
Well, that's not really true. My heart rate certainly went up a bunch on the way to church when a car drifted from the right lane, into our lane, across it, and into the far left lane, and missed us by, oh, six inches tops. Almost put a serious dent in my Mother's Day, and J's Corolla.

I am just knackered! Too many late nights. Anyway, just one quick thing- tonight we were in a bar listening to a really fantastic band. The guitarist held up his bottle of beer, asked the crowd to do the same, and then said he was going to toast us. He said:
"To the stork,
who brings cute babies to folks everywhere.

who brings ugly babies to some folks.
To the swallow,
