The hula chair is some infomercial that will slim you, trim you, and make you fit and fabulous. I was flipping through channels one afternoon, saw it and couldn't turn it off. Like some kind of train wreck, ya know.

Oh my--I hadn't hears of the chair either. I was trying to imagine me sitting at my desk in school with the chair. Oh boy, a lot of attention to the topic at hand would be happening!!

when I first saw the chair is was a clip from the tv spot that someone posted on youtube, I thought it was a joke, until I saw it on tv one day

Both my realtor and my nurse at work sit on chairs that are like this: Exercise Ball Chairs
The nurse's chair is egg-shaped rather than round, but same principle. |

You sit on the ball and it uses your abs to keep you on it. So it strengthens your "core" and helps with back pain, supposedly.
My posture is terrible and those make it worse. I find I am falling off those things more than I am sitting still on one. |

I could only sit on my exercise ball for about 15 minutes whenever I have tried it. And you can't really sit still exactly. It's supposed to be great for people who fidget! Some schools have use the balls instead of classroom chairs, because kids can wiggle and bounce up and down at their desks without making noise. I need to put my ball in the dining room, and use it when I use my laptop, so I could get some exercise while I sit.

Teaching your dog to potty on command is exceptionally useful if you have to leave the house in a hurry and won't be back for a while, too. It's not particularly hard to do either.
