| | LOL Sandy.
We went to the park to see a movie (they have outdoor movies on Friday nights, this week it was supposed to have been The Birds), and ran into Josh White. My friend Barb knows him, and when he said he was looking for someone for his daily feature, she said "Use Lynn!"
Of course the timing was perfect because of the fair next week. He was pretty insistent that I do something besides work, make jewelry and run Jeremy around. (Poor Jer was standing right there and got no mention, while his sister got her name in! )

| | So now I know why you moved from Minnesota to Iowa.
The same reason we moved from NY to Missouri.
And all this time I thought you'd lived in Iowa all your life.

And all this time I thought you'd lived in Iowa all your life. | Uh, no.... you know why I moved from Minnesota to North Dakota to Minnesota to South Dakota to Iowa.
And actually the move from SD to Iowa took place almost 20 years ago. We moved into this house 9 years ago. Power of the press to sort of twist what you say.

| | Hi, Lynn! Thanks for asking about my girls. They are doing well. Two in college this coming school year, boyfriends, and the usual mom-has-to-pull-her-hair-out-now stuff makes life normal and happy. I love them lots, and they are good girls. The pediatrician paid me a compliment the other day and told me I was doing a good job. My second daughter had written her a note, and it must have been better than good. Motherhood is all worth it, though I have to remind myself every now and then. I'd better write that compliment down in my journal! LOL!

I cannot believe they are in college. Where does the time go?!

Any one else needing to find it, hit the gallery and then look at 199.

| | Yes, Wormie, they are growing up! Yikes!
I don't realize how much I miss the eldest until I see her. Then, I just grab her and start crying (This has happened three times!). I can't imagine what it will be like without second daughter around, too. She is the most verbal and expressive of us all. Thank goodnes for technology (text messaging, webcams, email, etc.). We'll still be able to get doses of each other though miles apart, but the homecomings will be sweetest Nothing is better than being together.
