That is really cool. The news tonight showed the area baby born at 8:08 the AM. but it was less than 8 lbs.

Karma! I swear! Karma!
For several weeks, I have been missing a pendant that a client gave me to make a necklace for. It was her "OM" pendant and I was pretty sure it was either a family heirloom or something, but I knew it was really special to her. I've been dreading telling her it was lost - I was pretty sure I'd lost it somewhere between here and karate. Been tearing apart the house looking for it.
I finally decided today that I need to break down and admit it's lost to her on Monday. But I wanted to finish up the necklace just in case she could find a replacement. So I wrote on my to-do list for the weekend to finish Julie's necklace.
Jeremy called me while I was on my way home to tell me he'd found it. Behind a bookcase in the living room. It was peeking out just enough to see from the right angle.

There were actually 2 babies I hear that did just that. One was born in Cedar Rapids Iowa on 08/08/08 at 8:08 at 8lbs. 8oz. Amazing. Just amazing.
