question Looking for Sordid

I can't seem to track down the old weasel.

None of emails work, and the one old phone number I have scrawled down doesn't work either.

Has anyone in the last few years felt a disturbance in The Force which might signal Sordo's presence? If so, drop a dime on the gravy-sucking mofo. I mean, so far as you know, he might well owe me money.

The man is, heh, nefarious.

Re Looking for Sordid

Haven't seen him around in ages....if you have his real name, you could try googling it to hunt him down.

Re Looking for Sordid

Been trying that sporadically for a year. It's not THAT uncommon of a name, so every try yields a frustrating load of false leads.

I keep getting blog hits from (what I think) was his old stomping grounds, but so far no attempts to track him have yielded much.

Re Looking for Sordid

Have you tried posting a shout out on your blog?

Maybe he doesn't want to be found.

Re Looking for Sordid

It's not that critical that I find him -- I just miss the mangy old goat sometimes (usually when I pop over to Eps once or twice a month to laugh at whatever is going on there).

Re: using the blog... I could, I guess, but I was hoping to instead just drop an email to see what's been going on of late. Blogging about it seems somehow less personal. (As opposed to posting an APB on a bulletin board... shaddup)

Re: him maybe wanting to not be found... so what? I'm not Santa Claus. I don't do requests. If he wants to stay hidden and forgotten, let him brick himself up in a cave in Borneo or something. feh. 'Hide from me." The NERVE! I have a good mind to track him down and kick him in his shins.

I make no claims to being sensible or logical in my thoughts or actions.

"Looking for Sordid"

Now, that certainly peaked my interest.

But, now that I know it's someone's nick, I'm disappointed.

He was always a far more decent person than his public rep suggested.

I was always even more the opposite.

Hypotenuse still lives in my neck of the woods. I can see if I can track her down.

...
'Looking for Sordid'

Sounds like an indie film with countless possible storylines.

Believe it or not, I would be interested in what he has been up to also.

...tom...

Re Looking for Sordid

All these theories only make sense if Sordfish was off somewhere doing some kind of "work."

Kenny had a serious medical condition which prevented him from doing anything useful or constructive for more than 12 hours in any 365-day span. I saw first-hand the tragic effects of this, and it was not pretty.

Far more likely he's been engaged as a lab rat in a three-year medical study of inertia and napping.

And hell yes I am jealous and bitter that I was not asked to join him. I daily do less by sundown than most people do by 6 am. Sometimes twice.
