I'm in Minneapolis again. Someone forgot to tell Minnesota that it isn't winter yet! 
It's 65 right now. F. Brrrr- I brought shorts and tank tops. We were going to go tubing on Monday until Mark hurt his arm falling off a ladder. Long story. Anyway, we couldn't go even if he had two good arms- we'd have to chip a hole in the ice. Yikes!  |

Uh yeah. I was going to mention that it was in the 50's when I drove in to work this a.m. A little chilly...feels way more like fall than August!!!

I would be happy at 70. It is 88, and HUMID here today. Very humid. I went to school but could not stay.

Brrr v. 2.0.
omfg- we went to bed last night and left the windows open. I had to run through a deep freeze to get to the bathroom this morning. Mark thought this was funny. Until I gave him The Look. Harumph!
Now, there are two rays of sunshine which will warm my day today. I get to have lunch with Leslie, and I can hardly wait! 
And, I just now got off the phone with Chip, who just might be stranded at the Minneapolis airport for overnight. Which means that we get to show Chip "our" table at our favourite restaurant, and hopefully, send him home with some Legacy chocolates for Sara. This is awesome!  But it's still frickin' cold! |

Oh Dear.
I was talking to Cindy on the phone when Leslie showed up. There was much giggling to be heard. I warned both of them, but downtown Mpls may never be the same......
Yeah, too bad about Chip. I could have steered him toward some fab restaurants in the Twin Cities as well  ...none of which serve baloney sandwiches with yellow mustard.

Lunch was a resounding success! Cindy is absolutely as delightful in person (if not more so) as she is online. We went to Brit's- Minneapolis' version of an English pub and had a great lunch. I have more stories in my 4 Horsemen mental file now and am amazed that Cindy remains so calm!

I had a half-pint of London Pride! Getting real ale on draught was a nice surprise, and hanging out with Leslie was just wonderful! We laughed so much. Especially at me showing up an hour early- I forgot to change my watch, arrived where we were supposed to meet and called her when I couldn't find her. However, a nice lunch and a lesson about how to tell time were a great way to spend the afternoon. Uh, morning...  |
