9/11 Anniversary Stories

I've mentioned before that 9/11 was quite remote to me. I watched news coverage 24/7 for the first few weeks and waited for survivors but I never felt threatened or scared for myself. I didn't feel it personally like I did Desert Storm.

But wow, when they start airing anniversary stories of families in their own words...those are very touching, especially from children. Wah.

History Channel just aired 102 Minutes That Changed the World. Totally, totally, totally captured what it was like to be in Manhattan that day. Totally. Probably the most affecting thing I've seen on the WTC.

And I only got to see a snippet of it because I had a back-to-school night meeting. We did watch a short program of 9 people who had taken video. That was good.

I wonder if they'll re-air that on the History Channel and I can get on DVR? It sure helps me to better sympathize with those who lived it.
