Lynn, I wouldn't leave Connecticut even if the gas were free in Iowa! No offense, but some things, like your loved ones, are far more important. I may like to bitch about gas prices, but I wouldn't actually consider moving because of it! |

| | I just looked at gas buddy and someone in town has it for $2.23.
Getting very close to my target happy zone. Wouldn't have believed it if you'd have asked me a couple of months ago.

| | I don't know, according to gas buddy our prices are still higher than a year ago. Only by pennies now, but still, higher.
Wake me when we're back at around $1.30. I'm glad the prices fell about a buck and a half, don't get me wrong, but, I still want them to drop more. |

| | According to GasBuddy, the station down the road is at $2.49 as of this morning. It was $2.55 yesterday.
But this is the best I've seen anywhere: Gas for Under $2 - iReport.com $1.79 And in GA to boot, where just a few weeks ago they were scrambling for gas due to shortages.
I'm about to head to Sam's, can't wait to see what the price is there.

Perhaps someday we'll be driving alternately powered vehicles, and then gas will be cheap because nobody will need it.

| | I filled up for 2.34/gal yesterday at a truckstop outside beautiful Ganado, TX.
I thought it was a mistake when the tank topped off at "only" 36 bucks and change.

Leslie, WOW, that's great!

| | Thanks for reminding me I need to fill my tank. I forget to do it on this rental because my Subie tells me when I have 60 miles left, 40 miles left, 20 miles left... my gas light has been on for a day and a half now, and I don't know how close I am to trouble... better fill it up before I find out!
$2.38 here when I drove by (but didn't think to fill) last night. |
