| | Lynn, they don't have all the choices, but I can find a loaf of bread with real wheat (not enriched bleached wheat) and no high fructose corn syrup for under $3 if I buy it at Walmart, FWIW. I can't get my Vermont bread that I love there though.
Gas is $2.14 here. Still too high for me. I am hoping for like $1.29. That was a good price. I'll make that my target I guess. It seemed like it was $1.29 for a long long time. |

| | Um yeah... I did. Sorry... apparently I had a TIA (mini stroke) on this thread :s
Carry on!
Supposedly there's a town in CT called Colechester that has gas for $1.98. I never heard of the town, but I have a lot of hope that I'll see gas under $2.00 soon. It's $2.09 here today. |

| | $1.95 is the cheapest but most are at $1.99 to $2.03. Still, my $20 that I always use is filling me up to 3/4ths a tank with these prices. At the worst times it would only get me 1/4th. |

| | It was all over the news yesterday in Buffalo that their gas prices (around $2.69 still) are among the highest in the nation, and they're calling for some sort of investigation as to why. I filled up for $2.51 before returning the rental car. Didn't notice what the prices are here back home yet.

That's south of me. Supposedly SW Missouri has been the lowest in the state. Even on the southern edge of KC, my friend got $1.65 last week. We're still up around $1.73 on the north end of town though. After seeing everybody else's prices, I'm sure not complaining though!

| | The other day, oil dropped under $60/barrel. Our gas "shot up" .12 to 1.89.
Today, we are back down to 1.72 in my parts.
