No, I won't be visiting Disneyland, although I'll be right across from it at the Convention Center.

I'm going against a promise I made to myself about 25 years ago - that I would never, ever go to the LA-region of California. Work, unfortunately, makes me break my promise.

Now I just have to exercise some self-control... hopefully I'll be too busy to get curious to flip open a phone book or use Google.

It's a big part of the country. I doubt you have much to worry about.

I've never been to that part of California, but I'll bet you can find a lot of things to occupy your time. And a disciplined person like you won't have a problem.
