It's extraordinary to me that the United States can find $700 billion to save Wall Street and the entire G8 can't find $25 billion dollars to save 25,000 children who die every day from preventable diseases.~ Bono

Thanks everyone, it was a pretty good day. Coworkers got chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate crumbs on top of that, and flowers. Got cards and calls and emails, and the presents in this thread all made me smile (even if now I'm older still and birthdays are only really about celebrating that I survived one more circumnavigation of the sun ).
