Thursday in Philly

I'll be picking Bob and Matthew up on their return flight from Rome Thursday evening. They're flying into Philly instead of BWI because it was lots cheaper.

I didn't have any trouble finding the airport to drop them off last Friday, but had to hurry home to get to work Friday night. I hate to drive that far and only go to the airport again. If I leave in the morning, I could be in Philly by lunchtime. Anyone have suggestions for places to go, shopping, etc?

You'd probably love South Street. It's an eclectic mix of stores and good food.

I googled it and found lots of pictures -- definitely interesting place. Just off 95, so easy to find, and only a couple of miles from the airport.

Chestnut street is nice too, but it more toward Center City.
