| | To the Big City!!
No not NYC, just Philadelphia.
We are going to see the Trans-Syberian Orchestra--the Christmas tour. The kids have wanted to see them since they were teenagers. So, we got the tickets, and off we go.

| | Goosebumps MJ--doesn't even come close. It was the most unbelievable experience. I am too tired to talk right now, but I will tomorrow. It was totally amazing. We were speechless.

| | The concert was unbelieveable. The special effects, combined with the musianship of the group was amazing. To be able to move like they can, ahhh. I thought it was very special half way throught he concert that they stopped and each member was introduced. The music was incredible.
The center was packed. 11,000 + people. We had great seats, facing the stage. We weren't on the floor, but in the next section from the floor, we could see everything. They began with a story--as they always do--it was very emotional. I wasn't expecting the second half--where they played regular (non Christmas) music, since this was their Christmas tour. No intermission, the whole concert was about 3 hours.
The fun began trying to get out of the parking lot. There was a Tina Turner Concert at the Spectrum, which is next door to the Wachovia center. It was bedlam. I think it took us nearly an hour to get out of the parking lot. But is was so worth it.
They have a new song on Amazon, which is a free download right now. It was announced and of course I downloaded as soon as I got home. I haven't listened to it yet. It is from their new CD, that I don't think is for sale yet!! I could be wrong.
At one point he asked for everyone to take out their cell phone and open it up. It was neat. All these little lights all over the center in the midst of total darkness. The lasars were amazing--(did I say that already)--and the use of fire and smoke! They had multiple stages, the main one, and two side ones, and another nearer to us, that rose into the air. They just came off the stage and into the aisles. Must have driven security nuts! They even stayed after to talk with people if you wanted, but we needed to get out of there!! We still had about an hour drive home AFTER getting out of the parking lot!
I'd go again, in a heartbeat.
