To balance the sports jerk thread, here's one to talk about the best sports figures of the past year -- not necessarily the most successful, but the most sportsmanlike, either on or off the field.
Unfortunately, I'm finding it a lot easier to think of jerks than their opposites (sad but true), but I really like Ray Bourque. He always cut a classy figure in Boston, he was an integral part of the Avalanche's run to the Cup, and he left when he was on top of his game.
