The Sagamore is in the nations top historical resorts and inn book. It's supposed to be AMAZING!!! Hope you don't have to work much!! |

I was there last year - yes, it is truly wonderful. It's just that administration here made a point - several times - last year of telling me how it's highly unusual for staff to go to the annual meeting.

But the lightning will sear you if you try to slip by in a habit.

I remember when we were kids and my family used to go to the little bungalows on Lake George for a vacation. They were half the size of a hotel room, and we thought they were heaven in the late 1960s, early 1970s. |

We'd go up to the Adirondack Lakes every year when I was a child (Loon Lake) and spent lots of time on the northern end of Lake George when my sons were young and we still lived in NY.
Never been to the Sagamore, but I've heard it's wonderful! Have a great time! |

The Sagamore is incredible and the views from up there are, too. It's about half an hour North from my town. The little town that it is located in - Bolton Landing - is a favorite spot of ours during summer months. We go up there to the beach and to browse the shops.

Joubert, wow, somebody else has actually stayed in a little bungalow on Lake George! I think my father was working in that area one year in the 50's, so Mom and us girls joined him there. I have pictures of my sister and me decked out in Dad's white T-shirts for beach cover-ups. Our living accomodations must have been about the size of a closet, right on the Lake.

MJ, have a great time! | There is a place called Scotty's that still exists. We went by there two or three years ago on our way to Vermont. Yes, the bungalows are still closet-sized. |
