| | I'm waiting for a meeting that doesn't start until 7 | | The way the buses run, I had to leave the house way early if I wanted to get to the bank and deposit my pay check. So now, I'm at the Reading Public Library talking to y'all.
Dig this. At this library, the computers that we can use to get online don't have chairs. I guess they don't want us getting too comfortable, huh?
And it just goes to show you how bored I am that I had to start a new thread about the lack of chairs for the computer at this particular branch of the Reading Public Library.
!sigh

The Syracuse library lets non-residents use one particular computer for 30 minutes (for which you must wait in line and submit your driver's license). It, too, does not have a chair. But the computers that are there for Syracusians have chairs.

| | Re I'm waiting for a meeting that doesn't start until 7 | | Well, if I was that desperate to use a computer in the two-hour time frame that I was away from the house and not at a meeting, I would need to get counseling for internet addiction.
I checked out several books from the library, but I just wasn't in the mood to read just yet and watching the librarians glare at the homeless people can only be entertaining for so long.

| | Re I'm waiting for a meeting that doesn't start until 7 | | My favorite is the one in the children's room at our library.
You can ONLY use it if you are 6th grade or younger. So I have to hunker down on the floor next to Beanie in all my pg glory trying to help her look up the books she is looking for. You'd think they could have, say, another chair for the parents? |
