I am working on a list of things to do. Here's what I have so far:
Play a game
Take a quiz
Look for a new job
Talk to somebody else who's just as bored

Write book reviews
Play a game
Though, I try to do those things as "rewards" for getting a particularly undesirable task completed. (Hmm, does that mean you can tell how much I like the project I'm working on--or not--by how often I'm here?)

I am on vacation also, but haven't had time to be bored. I am leaving that until next week.

We're not allowed to check "message board websites" on company equipment, so reading up on EA is out.
Sometimes, I'll surf the 'Net and read news. When even that gets boring, I leave for a couple of hours (I have that flexibility because I'm a "field" employee and nobody monitors my schedule). |

Our unclassified LAN has a dedicated Counterstrike server running on the backup domain controller and there are usually 2-3+ people in there.
Failing that I give in to the temptation to misuse nearby expensive power tools or bother my girlfriend via the devil's medium that is AIM. |

Leave. (Yeah, I've been known to walk into my boss's office and say "I'm bored, I'm leaving" and I get away with it. Don't pull it too often, though. )
Write lists of things I could be doing outside of work.
Work on some of the things on the lists that I can get away with while at work.
