New meaning to graveyard shift, for me
But in the morning *home* and then I will
And finally I will be able to but in a few hours and then I will
to search for and most importantly (coffee)

Re It is 1230 (pm) im at work

I worked graveyard one summer.. I actually loved it. It worked much better with my internal clock and I could get stuff done during the day, still get sleep, and then go out at night with my friends before work.

There was a while there where I actually worked two jobs.. I did a 9 to 5 temp. THAT month I was a bit incoherent.

I worked graveyard about 9 years and really enjoyed it, too. Got to deal with a whole different clientele.

Re It is 1230 (pm) im at work

I worked nights at a nursing home, and then got switched to afternoons. I liked afternoons a lot better. Nights, there was no one to talk to, so I found it really lonely. Plus, I'm a morning person, so it really messed up my internal schedule.

Of course, then I had kids, and that gives a whole new meaning to 'working nights'.

I could never work graveyard, I'm too much of a morning person.

Re It is 1230 (pm) im at work

I work night shift, about every other night, it becomes a drag after a while. But I love and thank you, I saw the large amount of smilies at my mouse and I thought I would be creative besides I had about... 15 hours to do it.

I laughed through your post - very cute.

I used to be able to do night shift (although the closest I ever got was to be at work at 2am.) Now, I can barely keep my eyes open after 9:30pm!

Re It is 1230 (pm) im at work

I've been doing third shift for *mumble* years now. I like it, because I'm just really not the most sociable person on the planet. But the older I get, the more I'm turning into a morning person. Which is completely bizarre, I've always been a night owl. What's really scary is when we go on vacation and I'm up UP UP at 7am and the boyfriend is burrowing deeper under the covers to get away from me.

I usually end up reading in the car while drinking coffee for the two hours it takes for him to acknowledge that morning has come.

Re It is 1230 (pm) im at work

Usually I work from 4pm to 8 am the next morning. But sometimes I work from 8am one morning to 8 am the next morning. it is a drag but you get used to it. People say the shift suits me usually and say I am like a night owl. My shift is crazy, almost as much as I am..!!!Back to work!
