| | I must be stressed out | | I don't feel wedding stress - though I have so much to do, but I must be stressed.
I got an e-mail from my factory this morning. They did something that is going to totally screw me over. They are REALLY really late on something and are trying to put it on me. This is the first I've heard of it. I know that they've been avoiding the issue. My boss can see that from previous e-mails, but for the first time in years I feel ready to cry over a work problem. It's so damned frustrating. Why can't people just communicate. If there is a problem, tell me so I can deal with it proactively and not when its too late. This is going to be really really bad and one stupid e-mail a few weeks ago could have avoided all this trouble.
I want to scream!
The boss is cranky already. Is it time to go home yet? |

| | Re I must be stressed out | | Yes, it's time to go home
More likely, it's time for a new job.

| | Re I must be stressed out | | I just checked. Actually I did make a mistake too - though I think thats what they wanted me to do. Now I feel even worse. I have a really hard time forgiving myself for errors. Now I really want to cry - but I won't because I'm a responsiblity and I have to use my energy to fix this. Oy. |

I'm so sorry you're having to put up with this.

| | Re I must be stressed out | | I'm putting my energy into finding a solution. I'm halfway there. I can beat myself up later after I make it right. I already warned Brian that I'll be a dissaster tonight, but I think that I can make this ok - still a big problem that we have to deal with it at all, but possibly not a dissaster.
I'm in fix it worm mode.
I hate that the factory is on opposite time. I can't just call them and confirm anything. |

| | Re I must be stressed out | | I don't get it.
The boss goes nuts when there are problems.
I told him about it. I took the blame myself. I gave him the solution that I was working on.
He's calm. He even laughed a few minutes ago. He said the customer owes us a favor.
I'm horrified by this - he's cool. And when things are cool and fine, he flies off the handle. I guess I should be happy. I still feel badly for my part in this, but I'm glad that I'm able to create a working solution. Maybe I won't be a basket case tonight. |

| | Re I must be stressed out | | Must be something in the air, I'm in a similar situation myself this week. I've almost lost it over stupid frustrating nit-picky things that have just escalated and added up into big walls being built. Boss lady told me to just ignore the people who are making me crazy and take the weekend to let things work out.

| | Re I must be stressed out | | It's actually turned into an ok and productive day. this was the first time in years that I really thought I was going to freak at work, and I didn't give myself permission to do it. I assigned myself the job of finding a solution and that calmed me enough to actually do it. Of course CCW2 is ranting about who knows what. I'm glad it's Friday. | | |
