| | That's so sad.
Luckily, I have a house to canoodle in. How tragic. though. I bet those parents would do anything to have those kids back canoodling in the house. |

I keep telling you, Gypsies. Take those kids right off your hands. |
Ah, it's much easier to lift the tot above your head and softly chant, "Goblin King, Gob---"
And every time I even pretended to do it, my wife wouldn't talk to me for hours. |

| | Hey, Eris. IMDB (which you have to take with a grain of salt sometimes) says that Sting and Michael Jackson were under consideration to play Jareth. (It was 1986, so MJ was under consideration for everything). Sting 20 years ago might have pulled it off though. Not as sinister as Bowie, but interesting.*
*George, who acutally has the soundtrack. On CD. |

Sting I can see as the goblin king. He did that horrible Dune movie, didn't he?

| | Sting did the horrible Dune movie, yes.
And that godawful The Bride.
But he was in Qudrophenia, and well, like, was the coolest poppy New Wave dude for a decade so we'll let him slide. |

| | Not to mention Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. He gets WAY slide points from me for that movie.
And the horrible Dune movie was hardly his fault anyway. When you make a movie based on a horrible book, it's pretty much doomed from the get-go.

Wormie, it can be really hard to convince a doctor to do anything about chronic fatigue, but some things I learned as I dealt with fatigue last year:
* Ask your doctor to test for Epstein-Barr.
* Ask your doctor to test your thyroid, but make sure that they test T3 and T4 levels and if you are "low normal" look into getting treated (I can send you more stuff on that if you want).
* Consider getting a sleep test. They can test not only for sleep apnea, but whether you are missing certain hormones or enzymes that help you wake up.
Good luck.

| | Yes, I've seen Labyrinth (another one of those words!). My was more about George being disturbed than anything else.
And HERESY! Dune is a horrible book? I think that lowers your geek status by at LEAST 10 points. Book, great. Movie? The Suck. |

| | oh my! One of my threads has morphed into fantasy and sci-fi! EA is an amazing place.
Drove the TC to work today. Despite having a horrible belly ache and not feeling well, I was not at all drowsy driving. We'll have to see what the Idjits at the dealer say. Looked like they had a smart guy on it yesterday. |

| | DUNE was a fine book. Fascinating. A great read. And then there were sequels. I felt guilty for letting the tap water run for weeks after I read DUNE. The book was unusual and at times bizarre. The movie was grotesque.
