So, I got a ride to my meeting and am now here 1.5 hours early. The kicker is, I'm the only one here. They left the building unlocked and went home. So, here I sit with my laptop and wireless card, surfing away. Good thing I'm not a crook cause if I were, I'd be having a high old time robbing this police station

yep. borough hall and the police station are the same building.

yeah. I guess selling anything I found in there on ebay wouldn't be a good thing.

I would, Jeff, but the camera broke when they tried to take my mug shot.
The mayor and council president are here now. Both were a bit bemused that the building was unsecured.

They don't seem to be sweating. I once had to do a story about being locked out of a building. You never know what tomorrow's story may be about
