So, yesterday I am sitting in my upstairs (85 degree...no ventilation...hot...aromatic) classroom yesterday giving the spelling pretest. One of the words was, "religion". I asked, "How many of you are Catholic? Jewish? Protestant (which I always have to explain and break down into sects)? Others?
One boy raised his hand and said, "I believe in God but I don't have a real religion. My religion is, "Go with the flow and when you die, you go where you go."
We all enjoyed a lightened (or enlightened) moment in our hot and muggy classroom.
It's an example of why I LOVE

13 year olds!
