| | Hey Cindy, I helped my neighbor's 3 year old beat a worm into a pulp tonight.
It was a blast.

| | It was really an amazing experience. His mom called the fire company because she smelled gas in their house. Another neighbor and I wound up watching the 2 kids while she dealt with the fire trucks and fire men. This kid was fascinated by the worm. I wouldn't let him pick it up, so he got a stick and made it move around. I figured that was ok, next think I know he is smothering it in mulch. Ok, So I helped him build caves for the worm to craw through. Then I started talking with the mom, next think I know the worm is in fragments, and he is off to find another worm. Ahhh the mind of a 3 year old. My hubby said I was turning him into a biologist already!!

| | Their hot water heater. Evidently the plumber did not vent the plumbing properly when it was installed. Everything had to be shut down, and they stayed at her mom's last night. I guess the plumber will be there today.
