My boss told me at 3:45. After I swore a very loud blue streak and she told me to calm down, I suggested the closest bar.

She did not disagree.

Bottom line is that we have "approval" to go forward. But we've spent 12 F-ING MONTHS getting approval...and the "approval" is to form a committee to develop a plan.

We have a plan. A damn GOOD plan. And it will take more time to get the committee (all the execs jumped on the bandwagon and said "What a great idea! We want to be a part of figuring out how to implement this!") to meet than it would to implement the really good plan we already have.

I'm just disgusted. I shouldn't be, but it's just silly. Someone should have stood up and said "There already is a plan. Here's how you (Ms. Roadblock) can help implement it."

LOL, I have been doing up some designs for a challenge I entered. You have to do one piece EVERY WEEK on topic (or at least you are supposed to be on topic...1/2 of the people don't though, and I have a sneaking suspicion some of them are just pulling old pieces out to show off, as opposed to doing something new every week, which is supposed to help you improve your skills...whatever...I will do it the right way. ) This is week 2 and I've been stumped by the theme (Kisses in the Mist...how stupid is that???) but I think I have something.

And I have a communication to write up for the Daylight Saving Time change this year. But that will take me, like, 3 minutes tops. Did you all know that DST changes this year and is earlier??

I think it is
