as we countdown the days with the CCWs, I thought I would start this thread to share the current antics.

#2 has recently fallen in love with a man who rides a Harley. I haven't met him, but he really sounds like a good guy with a good sense of humor.

#1 feels the need to scream that #2 is now a Biker B&tch and the two of them are screaching "Born to be Wild"

they behave much better when he's here. They get nuts as soon as he leaves and then when they seem him drive into the parking lot they scream "Boss!" and run back to their desks like busy little chipmunks.

dull morning. I have actually been productive with a few projects.

#2 came in about 45 minutes late and had a 45 minute foreign language conversation with her mom on the phone.
#1 came in a bit late and had a need for an in depth discussion of her new hair cut, when she made the appt, when she got the cut, how its not perfect, and exactly when she'll love it.
Shortly after that #2s boyfriend called - giggle giggle giggle. I think she's still whispering with him now.

so far no singing, screaming or fighting.

#2 has a pimple. She's almost in tears because she never before had a pimple on her chin so it must be a coldsore - Because why would you get a pimple on your chin if you never had one there before?

Maybe it's from riding the motorcycle. You know - from the wind because it gets cold and they call it a "cold" sore. Um.....chances are its a pimple. If you think its herpes - go to the Doctor and let him culture it.

#1 still obsessing about her hair. #1 also asking me why the insurance lady hasn't called her back. I don't know - why don't you call her again?

How will they survive without me.

I haven't met him, but she put him through the ringer and he's still totally smitten by her. He seems like a rEALLY good guy, and she seems so happy. I'm really glad for her - and for the rest of us.
I hope this relationship lasts for her! It's really good for her.

my official last day will be January 31st. The CCWs don't know - boss prefers that they stay in the dark for as long as possible. Fine with me.

#1s car broke down so #2 is taking her to the dealer. Can you hear the quiet?

So....
Boss told them I'm leaving. I'm not sure what the heck he said, and frankly don't really care.
Apparantly we're all still in "secret" mode. They haven't said anything.
Boss came in and told me that they know. I asked how long it took for #2 to ask for my office - he laughed liked it didn't take long. I said so she must be happy - he indicated that she's not. I can't imagine why. I figure I'll just mind my own business unless they ask.
tomorrow I'll be sitting w/ #1 to make sure she knows what needs to be done and where everything is.
#2 - not happy when I'm here - not happy when I leave. Whatever.

#1 and I talked and she cried. I think she's afraid to be left alone w/ #2 and also nervous about someone new coming in and being a bitch. #2 apparantly is PISSED OFF because boss said she can't just have my office. He may be replacing my position, and if so the new person would get my office. She's MAD! The two of them are having lunch. Poor #1.
