So, MJ suggested that maybe a way of dipping my toes back into EA would be to post here.
It's been an awesome 2007 so far--primarily for professional reasons. Earlier in the year I won a fellowship that sent me to Los Angeles for two weeks. It was absolutely incredible. I've never had another experience like it. For 10 days we had classes and sessions from early morning until late at night. We saw 10 shows during that time and really got to know each other. It was a fantastic group of people and I was honored to be amongst them.
Some of us have started an arts blog that we do on a rotating basis focusing on art outside of America's major cultural centers. I also started a local/personal blog focusing on theater in Lansing.
A friend and I also recently agreed to write a series of books for an association that we had worked for in the past. We've signed a contract for the first one--an introduction to the world of spas. The foundation board determined that we needed to have a spa experience in order to write the book, so they sent us here. I just got back from that last night. It was an absolutely amazing experience and I was only sorry that we couldn't stay longer. This morning I told Rick I was ready for my breakfast in bed and morning massage and mineral bath. He laughed at me! Go figure!
So it's been a pretty exciting 2007 so far. Now I just need to settle in and get some work done, 'cause a whole lot of it has been piling up.

The food was incredible--though we didn't have any chocolate.
They serve all "spa cuisine" which means no processed foods. It's amazing how delicious all natural foods can be. We did have a lot of fruit: raspberries, bananas, apples, strawberries, and kiwi. We also had yoga classes sprinkled amidst all our treatments.

Amy, if I could find my phone, I'd probably answer it more. That's the downside to the Razors--they slip between things and I go weeks unable to find it.
