Clap! Well, it's official

I start my new job on August 16. The application and interview process began in early June, so it's been a bit of a wait. Doing about the same types of things I do today (project management, communications) but at a more strategic and corporate level.

It's a nice bump in pay, and I was ready for a change.

New place, or just moving up where you're at?

CONGRATULATIONS!

Same company, new position. It's a step up from where I am, I hate like hell to leave my team (they are GREAT) but it makes sense at this point in my career.

Yay! Although I thought looking at the title you were quitting the day job for jewelry.

Good luck!

How wonderful that, even with a corporate buyout in the works, you are getting a new opportunity.
