Looks like the only thing this woman did that our folks didn't do was hanging the dress on the sprinkler AT NIGHT, when there was less staff around to deal with the contingent emergency. The three, yes, THREE times it happened at my hotel were all during the day.

The sad thing was that after the second time, the brass decided it would be a good idea to put signs up by the sprinklers advising people not to hang things off them. We were already renovating stuff, so they were putting them in rooms after renovation was complete. The third party just happened to be in one of the last four rooms that didn't have the signs up.
Not that I think these people are bright enough to read and follow directions, mind you...

You know, Helen and I saw that warning hanging from the sprinkler in our room, and I nearly wet myself laughing. I couldn't imagine that anyone could ever be so stupid as to hang something from that. Not to mention how high off the ground the dang things are. Seriously, how do these people find their own homes again after being allowed out?  |

Not part of my job, Cindy. I just have to deal with getting them to walk the 20 feet to the in-hotel restaurant that's right behind them.
