I love my job... and in theory I don't have any days off of work. Some days just require more effort, some require much less.

For instance, I just took a two-week vacation over Christmas (took Michelle "home" to her family). I worked every day while I was there. Some days I put in several hours, some days a few minutes (there's a daily report that MUST be done, even on weekends, takes only a few minutes though).

I used to love my job, it had a great deal of flexablity-now it doesn't. Now I don't like it that much.

Any job (outside the home) that requires you to do something EVERY DAY sucks, IMO. Everyone needs to have a back up and the ability to completely get away for periods of time.

Can you tell I just had a rant session with my co-workers on the need for backups when someone is out of the office?

And there is no way in hell I will be able to hold out until the end of May for a day off. I'm twitching just thinking about it.
