1. He was neither the attacker nor one of the victims.
2. He's happy to have been sent home early.

I don't know at this point if we know any of the kids involved, but it's a tiny school; so the odds are good that we do.

This is totally freaky considering how small this school district is.

I'm glad Kareem is OK. It sounds like the injuries to the other students aren't life-threatening. The principal and the teacher who restrained the student certainly didn't waste any time doing that.

Of course, we may find out later that the explosive device was a bic lighter. You know how those media early reports can be quite exaggerated.

A friend's son came to church one Sunday with bright blue hair, prompting some of the older folks to comment on it. When they tried to get Bob to agree that it was terrible, his only comment was "He's in church. What more do you want?"

Green hair is fine. As long as it isn't on my head.

I made the same comment about the kids who come to church in (nice) jeans and religious-themed t-shirts. Dan thinks it's terrible and doesn't show respect, but guess who is in church and who isn't.

Glad to know the "explosive device" was just a lighter, but geez, what a day!!!

We have been following this. I wasn't sure if it was his school. Marissa was pretty sure that it was. I didn't realize it was a Middle/High School. I am happy he is ok, and not involved. I heard that a 4th victim came forward today.

Nice web site, Slick. And unfortunately, I don't think a cowboy church would get Dan to go, even if we had one in our area. It's more of the "organized religion" aspect that he objects to.

And yeah, I find your avatar amusing but a little disturbing to look at.
