I started my new job at the red store's headquarters. The job itself is one thing (fairly similar to my previous position), the environment is something totally different.

Got to actually take an hour off and leave the office/store. 
I got to be a champion at eating cold food and/or eating in 3 minutes or less when I worked in the stores. The minute you walked in the door, you were theirs.

In fact, I went down to the "Great Hall" in my building and enjoyed a fashion show, complete with runway, dj and really amazing tap dancing twin guys (20ish) who tapped to techno hiphop.
I can't get over how much my life has changed in 5 days! |

The red store? "Target?"
They're opening one in our town this summer, and there are people who've been literally waiting for years for it to happen. (Not much excitement in small southern cities, I guess.)

Yes, Frazz, Target. I started the trend in our family when I was 16 and got a job folding bras.
Since then, Mom worked on Price Change (she retired), Les worked in several different capacities, and niece K is working (I think as a cashier???), so we are at 3rd gen Target employees.
Scary, isn't it???

I miss my Super-Target in Florida.
We have a regular Target here, but this town could use a Super Target!! |

Now, if you want to get into original retail of what I spent in that $100... 
Again... hats and gloves. I think I got 4 hats originally $7.99 for $0.98 a piece, etc. But each kid has at LEAST two pairs of gloves to start off the year, and I'll be darned if I can find any. | |
