Yes, I know him. And you know his mother and his sister. He was adorable in his suit. The interview is over and he has left the building. I haven't seen my boss yet; so I don't know how it went.

I had an intern one year who was adorable. He'd get all liquored up and come in hung over and I'd start piling crap up on his desk. He had the best internship ever...got to plan ice cream socials and parties for 2000 people - best project management gig you could ask for.
He obviously learned a lot because he's still here. Matter of fact, his cube is just outside my office and I can see him pop up like a gopher every so often. And I don't think he goes out partying the night before a huge project is due anymore.  |

Did you recognize him in a suit and tie???? He looks so grown up.
I hear his mother called him at 9:30 AM to make sure he was awake, ate a good breakfast, and knew what he needed to say. I heard that she reminded him to iron his shirt. And yes, I hear his mother was nervous. Mostly that he would find the place.

We don't know. I am not holding my breath tho, I don't think his coursework as of yet aligns with what the company does.
I was just thrilled that he had the interview--gained interview experience, found the office without too much difficulty, and got home without any stains on his suit!!!

The people that have to discuss stuff were in meetings yesterday and have not yet discussed. So, the lack of response is not an indication of not wanting him - just no time to talk specifics yet.

Not to worry. It would be great if he gets the internship, but I also understand the coursework thing, and the state of the economy thing.
He has to work at the bakery today. He is going to get lots of stuff on him!!
He just got his grades from this semester. Best semester ever. 3.5.

Actually he had a couple of questions, and the torch was passed back to bossman. He said he is waiting to hear back from bossman.
He just left for work at the bakery.
Mother is elated.
