Oh the huge manatee! Le Spam!

There was a problem at work yesterday, getting and receiving outside emails. The IT folks were able to fix it, sort of, but had to disable the spam filter for the rest of the day. Oh the huge manatee!

I have one of those ghosty popup message previews that flashes in the lower right hand corner of my screen. I had emails coming in every 30 seconds, I am not kidding. I knew that I got between 400 and 600 emails in my Junk Mail filter everyday, but it's been many years since I felt the pain of it.

(Of course I can now source Viagra at Canadian Pharmacies, know how to grow my penis if I ever get one, and have some awesome money making plans that require no work at all.)

Meanwhile, be the IT department in a company of 125+ people known to be super whiners (we are the worst or best at whining).

Andrea, if it ever happens again, you can temporarily filter all of your email through gmail's spam filters. Forward everything to your gmail account. Their spam filters are pretty darn good. You can also configure your normal email client to read from gmail if you so desire.
