Things are rather subdued around here. I updated the company web site with a farewell message. I haven't heard when the funeral will be or who is going.
We've expected this for some time now, and after all he went through over the past month, it's probably a relief for his family not to see him suffering anymore.
He was a truly good man, and a geeky gadget lover. This company won't be the same without him.

Teddy never met him. I only got to see him in person last fall for a couple of days when he came to the office, and then through skype conversations about gadgets and work stuff. You know how you meet people who don't seem to have a mean bone in their body? They are just genuine and nice and have true integrity? That was this guy.
