| | Guilty Pleasures Write-Off | |
Well, considering I've only participated in one write-off in my entire history at Epinions, I figured it was time to just jump in all the way and go for the gold by hosting one.
Anyway, I was inspired this morning by listening to one of my Barry Manilow CD's. Yes, I am a huge Barry fan and I am not ashamed to admit it. So, my idea for a write-off is going the "Guilty Pleasures Write-Off". This is where we come out and admit something that we love, something that usually isn't cool to like or just makes people give you that blank look when you mention it. So come on, who's with me? Who's willing to divulge their deepest, darkest loves and obsessions?
I've tentatively set the date for July 15th, three weeks from now. I'll be reviewing the CD that gave me the idea, Barry Manilow's "Summer of '78". Let me know if you're interested. You can post here or e-mail me at sampo24@ivillage.com

Hmmm, everyone seems to be having writeoffs that week. I've already committed to two. Is there any chance of bumping this one week? I'd love to participate but I don't want to overcommit myself.

I'd like to participate, I think, but I have a really dumb question. When you say the write-off is on July 22nd, do you mean that's the start date, the end date or the date everyone must post their write-off epinion? Sorry for my ignorance.
