Just in time for the 2002 Holiday Season I have found the most ridiculous toy out there and have decided to share her with everyone (as long as she comes back looking close to the way she left my house - I'd hate to have to fork out another 20 bucks to replace her - since I'll only 3 cents on the review if I'm lucky).
The star of the show/write off is Mattel's Happy Family Midge and baby - yes, a Barbie that "gives birth" and the rules are as follows.
I'm caliing it the Pass the Pregnant Barbie Write-Off.
If you haven't had the pleasure of bashing Barbie in the past (maybe because you only have boys or have no reason to buy a Barbie) - or perhaps you have bashed her, but haven't done so recently and are feeling a slight twinge from ignoring her - well here's your chance to do so without having to spend one penny (ok, a slight postage fee will be necessary)!

This little lady actually "gives birth" and then snaps back to a size zero in no time (and I'm sure that's how it was for all of you -don't you already hate her?).
She's too good to keep and has to be shared. If you'd like a chance to play - all you need to do is e-mail me and and get on the Pass the Pregnant Barbie mailing list. Now that my Epinion has been completed, Barbie will be passed to the next person. I think shipping her about the US in a round about matter is best - after all Barbie wouldn't plan her trip and follow a logical route
To make this fun for my 5 yo daughter - who really wants the doll, but has been told she has to wait, I will enclose a map to show where Barbie has been and where she has given birth. If you would please mark off on the map where you live, and perhaps enclose a free or a cheap item that represents where you live it would be appreciated - even a note about where you live or a postcard would do. I think my daughter could have a very cool show and tell item if we get can get Barbie back to her no later than late May.
Of course your other assignment will be to play with Barbie and write an Epinion - taking a photo and posting it on you profile page might also be funny. Barbie will be passed from person to person until the last Epinion has been written and she is en route back to Claire.
