KcFoxy 2 Year Anniversary Celebration

Dear Fellow Epinionators and Friends of Casey (KcFoxy):

You are cordially invited to join in the KcFoxy Second Anniversary
ReWrite-Off on Thursday, September 20th at 8:00 PM PST. Casey plans to submit her 500th review on her anniversary; that's twenty-one to go!

When asking Casey what type of celebration she desired, her response was:

"Something special for my 500th? Well, I think a W/O would be nice...maybe one where people went back, picked a favorite review that needs a lot of revision/editing, yet has few hits. I have some that have 3, 4 or 5 ratings, back in the days when you only needed 75 words . . . But of course, I couldn't dream of organizing such a spectacle!!! (And wouldn't that be rather tacky to do for oneself?) But I'm always open to any ideas my creative cyber sis might have!"

Barely creative cyber-sis to the rescue! Let's be politically correct!
Let's make Joanne Woodward proud of us! Let's recycle! Instead of a theme or some truly well-organized write-off; this will be the first ReWrite-Off in the short history of Epinions. If you RSVP with a resounding "YES! YES!

The first time we did a rewrite I was in heaven. My first book reviews were so so so bad.

I know AOL has a zillion epinions but I have updated and revised it 5 times now! Maybe it is time I scratch that one and submit a new one, or at least integrate it so it makes some sense. Ok, count me in. I have some info I wanted to share anyway.

Just a heads-up for potential participants:

If your opinion is the only one on the topic -- especially if it was added back in the days of "suggest a category" -- the category may disappear into the ether when you delete the old review preparatory to posting the new one...

That's what happened to me when we did the "first great re-writeoff" back in May (and I suspect it wasn't the first then, either (; )

So be careful -- if you have to, get someone to post a hundred-word filler for a couple of hours, until yours is safely redone.
