rich2003dm is on a distinguished road

The timing on this couldn't be better, Amy. You must have read my mind.

After all this time on Epinions happily writing away with no regard for compensation or even approval, I've recently wondered if I could ever write something and actually con some innocent, naive publication into paying real money for it. Even just once. That would be a real rush for me at this point in my life.

I'll be a frequent visitor to that site. I need to do some intensive cramming.

Rich

One of the great benefits of private writing exercises is that you can free yourself of fear and perfectionism. To grow as a writer, it is important to sometimes write without the expectation of publication.

Yep. That's it. I've just been afraid. All this time....wasted...

Seriously, thanks, Amy. It is a nice place filled with good ideas for practice - something I truly need and would enjoy.
