Hi, I don't want to break any rules here. Am I allowed to mention my new short story magazine. It is a non-profit making venture so I'm not a greedy capitalist. I won't give the URL in case I am out of line. But will do if prompted. |

Just breaking in here for a quick comment. One of our members noted that they just received a spam email from your magazine / web site announcing a writing contest.
Once you are a full-blown participating member here, you have signature rights, and I'm sure interested people will check out your site. But, please do not email the members promoting things.

I, however, remain a capitalist, and after being a member for 5 1/2 years, have managed to put a link to a blog in my sig line. That's about it.
But trust me. Hang out for just a little while (if that's your intent) and this gang will end up knowing your dog's birthday, your favorite ice cream flavor and will go spam other people themselves promoting your business. Heck, I can think of two members here who have done just that for me.  |

Don't worry, my first week here I posted an entire article from a newspaper, not realizing the forum's policy about copyrighted materials
