Entries will be accepted between March 1, 2006 to May 13, 2006.
Poetry Division: Open to entries from writers of any age.
Youth Division 1: Open to writers 10 years of age or younger.
Youth Division 2: Open to writers 11-13 years of age.
Youth Division 3: Open to writers 14-16 years of age.
One entry per person. Entries must be previously unpublished
works of science fiction, fantasy, horror or supernatural
fiction of 5,000 words OR FEWER. The winner of each Youth
Division will receive a $50 gift certificate with a second
gift certificate being awarded to the winners' school. The
winner of the Poetry Division will receive a $50 cash prize
(in the form of a check from MISFITS). The winner of the Open
Division will receive a $100 cash prize (in the form of a
check from MISFITS). The winners in each division will be
honored and authors will receive their award during the
CONvergence 2006 Opening Ceremonies on July 7, 2006.
