Drillteam is looking for a freelance writer/editor to help write, publish and manage a fashion and trend blog. Candidates should have 2+ years of editorial experience, preferably in fashion, shopping, market or lifestyle and culture. Ideally, the editor will be plugged into fashion news and will have great knowledge of the high end fashion market (from Marc Jacobs to Phillip Lim) all the way down to younger, emerging designers. This job requires at least one entry each day, along with longer interviews and features each week as well as editing reader responses. We expect a minimum of 30 hours per week. Hours are flexible, as most of the writing can be done on your time from home, but candidates must be able to take weekly status calls and regular check-ins during business hours as well as provide editorial calendars a month out. Compensation is between $2,000 -- $3,000 per month depending on experience. Initially term is three (3) months with the likelihood of extending well beyond. Must be able to start on or around July 15 and we prefer candidates to be located either in NYC or LA.
