Description:
We are seeking an experienced writer with a financial orientation to collaborate with our business development team in a long-term marketing project focused principally on lead generation. This will involve enhancing our online presence by creating concisely written quality content to inform, inspire and call to action qualified leads in both the b-to-b and b-to-c arenas.

This is a role for someone who can do more than merely meet deadlines. You will be an integral part of our business development team, influencing the strategic direction of projects as well as contributing creatively.

We are looking for someone who has the capacity to become a student of our business and market; who can research and synthesize information to communicate our message; who has practical experience or a demonstrable aptitude suited to all aspects of online marketing from ppc to article submission to mini-sites and landing pages to driving word-of-mouth via blogs, boards, chats, social networking, and more.

This is a telecommuting role as a contractor with online collaboration and occasional face-to-face meetings in our offices.

Requirements:
· Excellent writing, grammatical and editing skills.
· Computer literacy and Internet savvy.
· Bachelor's degree in a writing-related field, such as English or Journalism, or equivalent experience.
· Competency in research and creativity in communication.
· Marketing/business development/financial orientation.
· Ability to work independently and contribute to a supportive team environment.
· Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
· An upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude.
· Eligible to work in the U.S.

Helpful But Not Required:
· Freelance writing experience.
· Blogging background.
