| | Getting the urge to write again, but can't seem to find something to write about.
Where are all the dopey, zany categories? I've been much too serious lately and feel like breaking out. In retrospect, my last two reviews seem to read like Hallmark cards. I've been trolling the Just In and doing searches for silly stuff, but all I find is consumer stuff. What is Epinions coming to?
I'd hate to have to actually do a product or book review. Not my style.
Where can a guy who doesn't do consumer stuff go on a consumer site to find something fun to write about?
Has anyone seen any unusual topics out there lately? Don't hold out on me. I'm getting desperate.

| | You're going about this all wrong Ricj (that one was intentional)
The way to do this, to create a true masterpiece, is to write a drop dead funny product review. Pick some random product - a humorous book is perfect - and write an off the cuff review of it that actually reviews the book - perhaps by spoofing it - but still leaves people in stitches.
I know you can do it. I have faith in you.

| | Janice,
Let me see if I understand this.
Pick something that really exists and write about it?
Never tried that before.
Probably involves buying a product or reading a book or something. Sounds like a lot of trouble.
Couldn't I just make up a product and write about it? Any place to do that? I have a vivid imagination.

That, indeed, has some promise.
I'll have to give it some thought.
Haven't gotten an "NH" in a while. Kind of miss them. Means I'm not doing my job.

| | Hmmm. That's true. And I did forget to write that nasty comment I promised you. You sounded so disappointed when you reminded me and I hate to disappoint people

| | Janice,
Those nasty comments are very important to me. They make me feel like a rebel...a real bandido!
Instead of a wrinkled, old, married guy sitting at a computer.
Let 'er rip!
