I'm not surprised. The article refers to the market not developing they way they'd thought. I think it is a matter that, right now, everyone expects internet and electronics to be free for the most part. Rather like broadcast television -- it took a long time for pay-television to become established. Also, most people would still rather read a book holding it in one's hands.
