I'm getting mad at WrittenByMe

I have now asked the FOUR times over the last two weeks to delete my account. I have over-written one piece with nonsense, two pieces I can't edit, and I just can't bear the thought of having to do the rest, one by one.

Thing is, a few weeks ago I asked them to delete one article, and it was gone in 24 hours. A week or two later, I asked them to delete some more things because they were old and out of date info and those were gone in about two days. But getting rid of everything? They're just ignoring me. Methinks they're swirling down the tubes and don't want to be bothered.

Any other contact ideas besides editor@writtenbyme.com?

When I wanted out, I happened to have a front-page article at the time. I just changed my material from its content to a copy-pasted REMOVE MY ACCOUNT notice 100 times over.

I did that with every one of my 150+ articles.

Check Out WritersWeekly.com

I was thinking about checking them out until I saw they were listed with Writers Weekly in the warnings section:
http://writersweekly.com/warnings/warnings.html

After that I changed my mind.

From the response I got from my letter to its editor, I expect we will see them soon. She mentioned that she'd had complaints from them.

Say what you will about Epinions, and people do , but they have always lived up to a specific $ commitment. Their checks have always been cashable.

Yes, they are a lousy way to make money (currently) and we could debate from now to eternity the changing TOS or mystery IS conditions, but, in my opinion, they have been more honorable than 99% of any of the writing sites or pay for click sites in the internet universe.

If you read the warnings about the rest of the sites that Writers Weekly has posted, it is enough to make your hair stand on end.

Epinions is what it is, but they aren't money weasels.
