If you could say absolutely ANYTHING to your boss without fear of repercussion, what would you say?

I really don't have anything to say to my boss that I can't say to her face. That's partly because I never see her, since I work night shift on the weekends and she works days M-F.

My middle son, on the other hand, had a few things to say to a supervisor at his job who was leaving. The whole night crew got a chance. The man was about to work his last shift and made the mistake of napping in his car before work. They shrink-wrapped him in. Then they all went home with him still in the car.

Nothing bad at all. I'd just like to ask about her kids.

She had twins a few months after my son was born, but she never talks about them and has only shown me one picture. It seems that she doesn't want her personal life to interfere with her business life. Which I do respect, and which is why I don't ask her questions any more.

We used to talk about traveling and other social topics, but after we had our kids, and probably had even more in common, she stopped wanting to talk Sad

Hmm .. I guess that's more what I'd like to ask her rather than "tell" her. Maybe I'll say, I'd like to tell her to talk about her kids more. Nothing too personal or too gossipy, just "they started walking" or they learned how to say "ball" ... stuff like that.

Yes, a raise would definitely be nice. Sometimes though I wish they'd just pay me and not worry about whether or not I actually got anything done. "Trust me! I'll finish the project ... soon":D
