And it's all my fault.

I promised soxfan I would cheer Martinez on in last night's game if she would consider moderating this new forum.

She considered. I cheered. My team lost.

But we do have a fun new forum for my troubles.

Enjoy folks.

There's no shame in losing to Pedro under any circumstances.

I'm sorry to see Mike Mussina's woes continue though. He's once again a .500 pitcher who is pitching brilliantly. Through last night, he's got a 3.32 ERA and a 1.08 baserunner ratio, but he's still 5-5. Moose may be the hardest luck pitcher of his generation.

That sounds silly for someone with a career record of 152-86, but I wonder how much better it could have been with more appropriate run support over the last 4 years.

But that's what he gets for going to the Hated Yankees. Angel

Your old music cannot sustain you through a life, not if you're someone who listens to music every day, at every opportunity. You need input, because pop music is about freshness, about Nelly Furtado and the maddeningly memorable fourth track on a first album by a band you saw on a late-night TV show. And no, that fourth track is not as good as anything on Pet Sounds or Blonde on Blonde or What's Going On, but when was the last time you played Pet Sounds? - Songbook by Nick Hornby

Nope, no shame at all. It's tough to score runs against Pedro.

If Yahoo's stats are right, the Yanks have scored an average of 3.5 runs for every start by Mussina. If you take out a couple of lopsided wins (9-0, 14-5), the average drops to 2.1 runs. Not a lot of room for error.
