Now the big question is would you pay an extra $500.00 to have this set up at your event?

I love that! However, $500 is a lot.

Looks great!

Does this tie you down a little bit less than being a restaurant owner did?

RE: New Catering Prop
Catering is a lot less restrictive and work. I don't have employee problems like I did in the restaurant and at the end of the year the money works out about the same. Even with the economic slow down I still have no complaints.

Yep, $500.00 is a lot, but when you figure the folks have $10,000+ in the thing, and it takes a half hour to load, about an hour and a half to set it up and more than that for tear down it seems a little more reasonable. Actually, the normal rate is $600.00 for a four to six hour day by most everyone else.

If you buy the meal that's cooked on site it can run up to $25.00 per person with a minimum number. Only, the owners haven't decided what the minimum is yet.

RE: New Catering Prop
I don't think $500 would fly some places, but given your location and menu, I don't think it's unreasonable. Besides, it's an option. If folks want to save the $$ they can.

I think it would work for a western wedding or reunion type reception. People will pay for a unique setting.
